Voice Report Editor Jessica Gdowski has hit the ground running since joining CCMI in April 2006. She speaks regularly with savvy enterprise telecom managers and other telecom experts about telecom auditing and expense management, mobile device and cost management, IP telephony and contract negotiations. In addition to winning several awards for investigative, instructional and analytical reporting, she was recently honored with the prestigious National Press Club award for Best Exclusive Newsletter Journalism for her ground-breaking coverage of Avaya's PBX maintenance policies. She is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University, one of the most acclaimed colleges in the country for teaching journalism. George David, President, CCMI
George’s career began in 1966 at AT&T, and during his 17 years in the Bell System had assignments in operations, engineering, sales, marketing and industry relations. George left AT&T to pick up valuable end-user experience at Mobil’s domestic telecom management organization. He moved from Mobil to CCMI in 1985 and, during his tenure, has guided CCMI's growth and expansion into both the vendor and enterprise markets. Michele Campbell, Marketing Manager, CCMI
Michele is an important member of the creative team at CCMI, responsible for conveying the incredible value of our entire portfolio of products, including Voice Report, to both enterprise and service provider markets. A geek at heart, Michele always is looking to leverage new media and technology as an integral part of her marketing strategy. She played an important leadership role in both the launch of Telecom Junkies, our biweekly podcast, and the creation of this new Voice Report Web site. She joined CCMI in 2004 after holding marketing and circulation positions with Aspen Publishers and Primedia, as well as conference and event planning posts with Capital One and a national non-profit environmental organization. Ursula Hursen, Production & Marketing Coordinator, CCMI
Ursula is the promotions and marketing coordinator for CCMI’s entire portfolio of products and services, including Voice Report's newsletter and conferences. She joined UCG, CCMI’s parent company, in 2004 and was promoted to her current position with CCMI in 2006. She previously held executive administrative positions with the University System of Maryland and Valley Pine Mortgage. Ursula is certified in cable/optical fiber and computer hardware repair and plans to finish her degree in business/marketing at University of Maryland University College. Tammy Permenter, Accounts Administrator, CCMI
Tammy joined the CCMI and Voice Report customer support team in March 2008, but has been with UCG, CCMI’s parent company since December 2006. She brings with her a knowledgeable background in customer service, having worked in this area for several years. Tammy is responsible for supporting customer questions on service and products and prides herself on complete customer satisfaction. Tammy holds a BS degree from the University of Georgia. Melissa Laughlin, Customer Service, CCMI
Melissa has been an important part of the CCMI and Voice Report customer support team since 1999 and with UCG, CCMI’s parent company, since 1997. Melissa’s natural people skills and genuine interest in helping others have enabled her to develop personal relationships with many of CCMI’s customers. These relationships, combined with her knowledge of CCMI’s products, have helped ensure customers get top-notch customer support. Always the customer advocate, she works with the various product managers and IT staff to make sure all issues and questions are handled accurately and in a timely manner. Melissa graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Elon University, and when she’s not helping customers she loves to put on her running shoes and hit the trails.
