Outside of the telecom world: swimming (and coaching it), singing, music in general, the TV show ‘Lost’ and Harry Potter. Prediction on the Future of Telecom & Telecom Managers: From what I have learned so far, it looks like telecom is definitely going towards an increasingly open platform world where voice and data becomes merged. Telecom managers will have to learn how to create and manage applications that their companies can use, while keeping security in check, as well as learning both evolving voice and data technologies. Weirdest Thing People Usually Don't Know about Me: My feet are more narrow than anyone I have ever met. When I'm not talking or doing something in relation to telecom, I'm usually... spending time with friends and family, working out or singing. The stupidest thing I've ever seen anyone do or say in relation to a phone: I have personally ruined three cell phones by dropping two in the pool while cleaning the bottom of it, and most recently, by putting one through an entire wash cycle in my pants pocket. |
