Jeff Mazzabufi's Rap Sheet

Jeff Mazzabufi

Title:  Telecom Manager
Employer:  Hubbell Inc.
Nickname/Alias:  Mazz

What I'm Best Known For (in the Telecom World):

Invoice Audit and credit recovery

Other Primary Areas of Expertise:

Nortel PBX, Call Pilot voicemail, contract negotiations, cellular, project management

Summary of Professional Background:

Jeff Mazzabufi is a 20-year telecom veteran responsible for managing $4 million a year in voice services for 8,000 employees at 54 North American locations for Hubbell Inc. He recently completed a year-long TEM project to audit, identify, analyze and manage Hubbell’s telecommunications services and invoices for all North American locations resulting in an annual savings of $227,000. Though he has saved Hubbell more than $1 million a year combined in telecom services since joining the enterprise four years ago, he counts his overhaul of the company’s cellular spend as the most rewarding in terms of savings and customer satisfaction.

Prediction on the Future of Telecom & Telecom Managers:

I think phone numbers will replace social security numbers. Children will get a phone number at birth and have it with them for their entire lives.

Weirdest Thing People Usually Don't Know about Me:

Too many to list.

When I'm not talking or doing something in relation to telecom, I'm usually...

Outside

Book and author I'm currently reading:

Flags of our Fathers – James Brady

CD currently or most recently in my car stereo:

Classic Rock mix

The stupidest thing I've ever seen anyone do or say in relation to a phone:

Again, too many to list but I like to call people on their phone after I’ve fixed it and ask them “Is your phone fixed?” Most people will actually have to think about it!
