Working in telecom services area since 1993. Previously worked for two of the Big 3 national carriers in areas of negotiated prices and terms and conditions for national and global accounts. Involved in leveraging  customers’ procurements to migrate away from a frame relay/ATM environment, often including the implementation of new alternative access technologies.

Prediction on the Future of Telecom & Telecom Managers:

Telecom providers will continue to cut costs and as a result, the level of support will become less and less.  As the level of support goes down, telecom managers will be required to provide more and more internal support to fill the gap for services the account teams are no longer providing.
