Byron Battles has 27 years of industry experience in direct voice telecommunications evaluation, technical and project consulting, and applied market and subject research. His voice and personal computer-related consulting experience includes baseline assessments, requirements analysis, needs projections, RFP preparation, proposal evaluation, technical evaluation and support, and project management. Byron’s current sphere of activities includes IP telephony, business case and TCO development, contact centers, strategic planning and implementation management in the converged world. His clients have been in a spectrum of markets, including health care, government (federal, county, local), publishing, manufacturing, associations, museums, professional services, and telecommunications manufacturers and distributors.

Byron has been a member of the Society of Telecommunications Consultants, a professional association of independent information and communications technology (ICT) consultants, since 1990. He is also past president of the STC.
