Michael M. Lloyd's Rap Sheet

Title:  Counsel
Employer:  Miller & Chevalier Chartered
Nickname/Alias:  Coach (current)

What I'm Best Known For (in the Telecom World):

Nagging about mobile telephone documentation.

Other Primary Areas of Expertise:

I am a tax lawyer and practice in the fringe benefit, information reporting and
penalty areas.  Despite this focus, I am somewhat of a tax generalist in that I have worked on
a variety of issues over the past 16 years.

Summary of Professional Background:

I have worked in tax and accounting for my entire professional life.  I am a CPA licensed
in Maryland, but I practice as a lawyer in Washington, DC.

Prediction on the Future of Telecom & Telecom Managers:

The gadgets will continue to evolve and wow users.  The current crop of phones
resemble Star Trek communicators. The next generation will probably be invisible.

When I'm not talking or doing something in relation to telecom, I'm usually...

Coaching my children’s youth athletic teams.

Book and author I'm currently reading:

I just finished John Grisham’s The Broker.

The stupidest thing I've ever seen anyone do or say in relation to a phone:

IRS - “I don’t call my mother on my government cell.”
