Summary of Professional Background:

I have over 22 years of telecommunications, project management, and networking experience.  I have served as Senior Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Society of Telecommunications Consultants as well as the recipient of the Business Advisory Council California Businesswoman of the year award for 2003 and 2004.

Education includes a BS in Business Administration-Operations Management Option from WVU, a Masters Certificate in Commercial Project Management from George Washington University school of Public Administration and a Masters Degree in Telecommunications from University of Denver.

Prediction on the Future of Telecom & Telecom Managers:

To survive, Telecom Managers (and IT managers) need to view the world of information and communications as a coordinated continuum rather than separate stovepipes, or opposite ends of the spectrum.  Both telecom and IT need to embrace and accommodate the uniqueness of each form communication while erasing the artificial barriers between them.

A cultural revolution among IT and Telecommunications is required to successfully integrate what are currently perceived as polar opposites.  Those who continue to compete, rather than cooperate will be frustrated and ineffective.  Those who are able to forge agreements among peers will be able to effectively move their organizations forward.

I once worked on a dairy farm milking cows.
