Warren H. Williams

Title:  VP and Senior Program Director of Services
Employer:  InfoTech, a division of Access Intelligence

Featured In:
The Dating Game-PBX Maintenance Edition, 2/28/07

What I'm Best Known For (in the Telecom World):

Deep telecom experience and knowledge with concentration on Maintenance, Managed and Professional Services.

Other Primary Areas of Expertise:

IP PBX and voice application solutions
Hosted IP PBX

Summary of Professional Background:

Thiry years experience. Career has included sales, market management, product management, training and strategic planning in carrier and communications systems companies; strategic consulting on virtually all aspects of the communications business including carriers, voice system manufacturers, VARs, OSS providers, service providers, systems integrators and cable companies.

Prediction on the Future of Telecom & Telecom Managers:

We're only at the beginning of a huge transformation. The PBX as we know it will transition to a software model, there will be multiple sources of applications in a relatively open communications environment and end users will customize their interfaces, integration of voice with business process applications will vastly improve business flexibility, and solution provider service portfolios and excellence will pull solution sales.

Weirdest Thing People Usually Don't Know about Me:

I did a keg stand on my last birthday and beat all of the 20+ year-old guests.

When I'm not talking or doing something in relation to telecom, I'm usually...

Spending time with my wife, kids, grandchildren, friends or at the casino.

Book and author I'm currently reading:

I always have two in progress - one light one heavier: Right now it's a biography of Roberto Clemente and the latest Clive Cussler book.

CD currently or most recently in my car stereo:

Guns n Roses - Greatest Hits

The stupidest thing I've ever seen anyone do or say in relation to a phone:

None - everyone in this field is extraordinary. Honestly though - What haven't I seen or heard?
